Online terms of sale
These terms describe ordinary product orders. Catering and recurring orders have separate terms.
Order formation
Submitting checkout creates a pending order only after server validation of current products, prices, stock, minimum order and delivery. The order is not paid or confirmed merely because a browser returns from PayFast.
Payment
Payment is processed by PayFast. Olive Jar does not store raw card numbers or CVV data. Payment is marked paid only after a trusted notification passes signature, amount and provider validation.
Price and availability
Prices are shown in South African rand. The authoritative price is recorded on each order item. If stock or delivery becomes unavailable before order creation, checkout is blocked rather than silently substituted.
Minimum order and delivery
The default minimum product subtotal is R180 and may be changed in administration. Local Cape Town delivery and configured collection are the only launch methods; the exact zone fee and address snapshot are recorded on the order.
Cancellations and refunds
Cancellation and refund eligibility depends on payment, fulfilment, perishability and applicable law. Administrative refunds require a recorded reason and remain separate from fulfilment status.
